Thoughts behind: I made the sketch for this illustration a cold, sunny, and beautiful winter morning in Greenland. That particular morning, I felt like I could take on the world. I felt empowered. I felt gorgeous. I felt worthy.
Sadly, I don't wake up feeling like this every morning - but when I feel stupid, inconpetent, or unimportant, I look at this illustration and remember that cold sunny winter morning. And I repeat to myself that I AM a strong woman. I AM worthy.
